The Sitka black-tail deer is a close cousin to the Columbia black-tail. These deer are a great hunting experience. Hunting deer where some of the world’s largest bears call home adds a bit of excitement. This hunt also takes place in Kiliuda Bay, about a 20-minute float plane ride south-east of Kodiak.

Tags are issued over the counter, with up to three, per person

This is a 5-day hunt with a travel day on each end. We target the rut that takes place in the first part of November.
