After a 40-minute plane ride from Nome, your hunt will start at a remote base camp located along the Continental Divide. The majority of caribou hunting takes place from various spike camps throughout the Seward Peninsula. These spike camps increase the odds for success. Our caribou hunts are by far one of the most consistently successful hunts in all of Alaska. Our hunters have a 100% opportunity of seeing caribou on their hunt. We use a fleet of 8-wheel Argos while we search for caribou, grizzlies, and wolves. All of our Argos have enclosed cabs and help protect hunters from the rain and wind. Final stalks can range from a mile to as little as 100 yards. All hunts are 2 hunters per guide.
The hunter is responsible for purchasing their hunting license and metal locking caribou tag, as well as lodging and meals while in Nome, AK.
• This is an over-the-counter tag. Limit is one bull caribou per person.
• A 5-day hunt in August with a travel day on each end.
• Hunters may add Grizzly bear, Moose, and Wolf as an additional trophy fee. If hunting September 1st on, a hunter may add wolverine as well.
